Our commitment
People book heating and air conditioning work at every age and with every kind of ability, often in an emergency. This site should work for all of them. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA.
What we have done
- Every control can be reached and operated with a keyboard alone, with a visible focus outline
- Text meets AA contrast against its background, and the layout works at 200% zoom
- Images carry alternative text, and decorative icons are hidden from screen readers
- Form fields have real labels, and errors are announced rather than shown by colour alone
- Headings follow a logical order so screen reader users can navigate by structure
- Animation is disabled automatically for anyone whose system requests reduced motion
- The layout reflows to a single column on small screens with no sideways scrolling
Known limitations
We test as we build, but we are a small company and we do not claim the site is perfect. Third-party content we do not control, such as embedded fonts, may not meet the same standard. If you hit a barrier, we want to know.
